Our move from North Carolina to Michigan
[February 12, 2014] We are finally moved into our new home in Kingsley, Michigan which is just south of Traverse City. A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped us with our move, especially with things back in Statesville. You know who you are!
[December 24, 2013] After a lot of prayer and soul-searching, we have decided to move to Traverse City, Michigan. It's a long story, but we have known in our hearts for awhile that our destiny awaits elsewhere. I can't tangibly explain why, but God has plans for our family. Andra and I are both inexplicably drawn to Traverse City despite having never been there. This is a huge step of faith for us, as we seek to simplify and down-size our lives. For the immediate future, Mike will continue to work for Bank of America remotely while Andra obtains licensure in Michigan as both RN and LPC and finds employment there.
